Most people assume their solar panels and batteries continue working during a power cut. Unfortunately, that’s often not the case. Having reliable power cut protection is essential when the unexpected happens.
Without the correct gateway installed, many solar battery systems automatically disconnect for safety reasons, leaving your home without electricity exactly when you need it most. Using an Automatic Changeover Switch ensures backup power is available and offers power cut protection for your family providing the inverter has a suitable EPS/ back up output.
